Privacy Policy

The short version: your numbers never leave your browser. Every calculator on NetProceeds runs entirely on your device. When you enter a sale price, item cost, or shipping cost, that data is processed by JavaScript in your browser and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We have no accounts, no sign-ups, no email capture, and no database of user inputs — because none exists to breach.

What we collect

Nothing personally identifying, by default. Specifically:

• Calculator inputs and results: never collected. They exist only in your browser’s memory. If you use the “copy link to this result” button, your inputs are encoded into the URL you copy — sharing that link is entirely your choice.
• Local storage: we store two small preferences on your device — your light/dark theme choice and your cookie-consent choice. These never leave your browser.
• Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived access logs (IP address, page requested, user agent) for security and uptime purposes, as virtually every website’s host does.

Analytics and advertising cookies

If you click “Accept analytics” on our cookie banner, we may load Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, and Google AdSense to serve ads that keep the calculators free. Both are loaded only after you consent — declining keeps the site fully functional with no third-party scripts. You can change your choice any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Our cookie policy lists exactly what gets stored, by whom, and for how long. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in Google’s advertising policies, and you can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

Third-party requests

Before consent, this site makes no third-party requests at all: no external fonts, no CDNs, no trackers. Pages, styles, and scripts are all served from our own domain.

Links to platforms

Our pages link to official fee schedules on eBay, Etsy, Stripe, and other platforms so you can verify rates yourself. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them (or, for that matter, from anyone).

Changes to this policy

If our practices change — for example, if we ever add a feature that transmits data — we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
